About BBA

Superintendent’s Note

Are you a disciple of Christ? Do you care deeply about academic excellence? Leaders cannot guide others to places they have not gone themselves, and individuals can only shape others into what they themselves are or have been. I, for example, will never be able to mold young men or women into basketball players. Jesus taught that the student becomes like the teacher, yet He also warned about situations where the blind lead the blind. Success at Berean Baptist Academy requires a strong commitment from every member of our community, faculty, staff, parents, and students alike. We must diligently guard our Christian walk, study earnestly, and put in the hard work necessary to achieve academic excellence, carefully balancing work with rest.

To be a disciple means to follow in another’s footsteps. Are you ready to follow us as we follow Christ? When Christ indicates that it’s time to learn, are you willing to do so? When He shows us the lesson, the correction, the consequence, or how a task must be accomplished, will you listen, or will you reject your opportunity for discipleship? Berean Baptist Academy exists to make disciples of Christ who strive for academic excellence, and that means my own purpose is also to make disciples of Christ who pursue academic excellence.
