BBA LEADERSHIP
Leadership at BBA
At Berean Baptist Academy, leadership is more than a title—it is a calling shaped by faith, forged through experience, and lived out with steadfast commitment. Our team brings together a diverse blend of backgrounds—classrooms, military service, ministry, and family life—uniting under one mission: to develop disciples of Christ who strive for academic excellence.
Each leader’s story is unique. Some were shaped by the discipline of military service, others by the perseverance of small-town life, and others by the refining fires of personal trials. These paths have built a leadership team that understands both the weight of responsibility and the joy of Christian service. We know the trust families place in us, the challenges teachers face, and the eternal impact of shaping young hearts and minds.
Our team spans generations, from seasoned educators to emerging voices. We honor the wisdom of those who came before us, while engaging the energy and vision of the next generation. This blend allows us to connect with parents from Baby Boomers to Gen Z, and to guide faculty and staff of every generation with wisdom, strength, and grace.
We are not trend-driven, but neither are we stagnant. Rooted in truth, we strive to lead with clarity and conviction, ensuring that our classrooms remain anchored in biblical truth while preparing students to navigate a changing world. We serve with steady leadership, biblical clarity, and a joyful calling—walking alongside teachers, students, and families as partners in this sacred work.
Office of Superintendent

Dr. Jackie “Jack” Farmer
Superintendent
US Army Veteran
After being medically discharged from the United States Army Infantry for a spinal and neck injury, following a Bradley Fighting Vehicle accident, I didn’t slow down. I went from training rooms to classrooms, from drill formations to doctoral forums. Along the way, I earned degrees in theology and leadership, raised daughters, led youth groups, filled pulpits, led a thriving singles’ ministry, built teams, and learned from both victories and mistakes.
Today, I serve as a superintendent, mentor, husband (now in our third decade), father, and grandfather—but titles only matter if they reflect the calling behind them: a disciple of Christ committed to raising others with truth, clarity, and wisdom forged in the fires of experience.
I’m not the leader who shouts from a distance. I walk with people when they indicate they are ready to listen carefully, when they speak honestly, and when they refuse to give up on those who are prepared to give up on themselves. I believe in grace, growth, and grit.
My life hasn’t been easy—but it has been worth it. I remain committed to the truth of Christ, to people, and to the kind of leadership that stands strong when life hits hard. As Rocky said, “No one hits harder than life.” Yet, with Christ, we always have the strength to keep moving forward!

SANDRA ADAMS
PRESCHOOL PRINCIPAL
Every child carries a spark of God-given purpose, and every parent is entrusted to nurture it. I believe in walking alongside families—especially in the preschool years—to help children grow in knowledge, character, confidence, and Christlikeness. My own teachers modeled how to care deeply, teach clearly, and uphold high standards with warmth and grace. Their influence shaped me, and it became my calling to do the same for the next generation. I especially love encouraging first-time parents as they learn to guide, love, and lead with biblical wisdom. This academy isn’t just a school; it’s a community where children are nurtured, families are supported, and faith takes root. Together, we can build a foundation that lasts far beyond preschool.

Dr. JAck Farmer
INTERIM ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL
Dr. Farmer’s leadership journey began in the U.S. Army Infantry, where he developed discipline, resilience, and the ability to lead teams with clarity and purpose. After a service-related injury, he transitioned from the military to education, earning degrees in theology and leadership while teaching, mentoring, and serving in ministry. These experiences shaped his ability to communicate with empathy, build strong relationships, and guide others through both challenges and growth.
As Superintendent, Dr. Farmer has strengthened instructional systems, developed staff, supported principals, and created a culture of collaboration. He understands the unique needs of elementary students—safety, structure, encouragement, and joy in learning—and he prioritizes nurturing the whole child spiritually, academically, and emotionally.
Stepping in as Interim Elementary Principal, Dr. Farmer brings strong organizational skills, clear decision-making, and calm leadership. He is skilled in coaching teachers, setting high expectations with support, and unifying teams around a shared mission. By partnering with departmental principals for instructional coaching and teacher support, he will provide stability, elevate instructional quality, and lead a Christ-centered environment where students and staff thrive while still providing corporate oversight of the Academy.

Heather Wiggins
MIDDLE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
I still remember meeting Miss Vonda Chapman, BBA’s former Elementary Principal, at a college recruitment event. Her quiet conviction stirred something in me, and I left knowing I wanted more than a job—I wanted a calling. In 2011, I joined Berean Baptist Academy as a 5th-grade teacher, learning from mentors like Debi Smith, who modeled joyful, steady faithfulness. Over the years, I’ve taught grades 3–6, helped build our middle school program, and eventually stepped into leadership. Today, as Middle School Principal, my heart remains the same: to invest deeply, lead with clarity and compassion, and create a place where students and teachers are known, supported, and challenged to grow. For me, this isn’t just a school. It’s sacred ground.

DR. ANNIE LEVENS-MORRIS
UPPER SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
I believe leadership begins with love — love for God and love for people. That truth has shaped every decision I make and reminds me that leadership is more than oversight; it’s stewardship. Stewarding hearts, relationships, and moments that leave lasting impact. My journey, shaped by both early experiences and adult challenges, has deepened my faith, refined my purpose, and taught me that conviction and compassion can coexist. True leadership isn’t perfection, but presence.
I lead with accountability to God, love for my family, and belief in the value of every person. My desire is to create spaces where people feel known, supported, and empowered to become who God has called them to be. At the end of the day, I hope others walk away uplifted — not because of me, but because of the One who leads me.

Becoming a mother changed everything—it deepened my perspective and gave new meaning to every decision. As a military child and now a military spouse, I understand the challenges of change and bring that experience into how I support families: with patience, empathy, and commitment. I’m a proud graduate of this academy, as are my siblings and all three of my children, giving me a personal connection to this community. I help guide families from admission to graduation—or for however long they’re here. Whether your stay is brief or long-term, I’m here to make your experience welcoming and meaningful. This isn’t just my job—it’s personal. Every child deserves to be seen and supported, and every parent deserves care, respect, and someone who truly listens.

LORETTA NALLY
DIRECTOR OF CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION
I’ve believed in the power of Christian education since I was nine, sitting in the basement of my small Christian school, realizing it was part of the Great Commission. That conviction has shaped my journey—from rural roots to leadership and mentoring roles. I help Christian educators lead with wisdom, clarity, and grace—rooted in truth, not trends. I believe schools should be both theologically anchored and academically excellent. My passion is walking alongside teachers—equipping them to build systems, strengthen their Biblical foundation, and restore joy in their calling. Mentors once helped shape my voice; now I serve those shaping the next generation. Christian education is sacred work—requiring structure and soul, conviction and compassion. If that’s your heart too, I’m here to help.

HEIDI UELTZEN
DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS
US Army Veteran
If you’re here, you may be searching for hope. I know what it’s like to walk through fire and come out stronger. As a military child, I learned to adapt and lead while silently enduring years of abuse. At 17, I enlisted in the Army, facing pain, loss, and the challenges of raising three children alone. Yet, I persevered—earning a degree in 18 months and finding my faith at 27. God turned my pain into purpose and carried me when I couldn’t stand. Today, I’m a mother, grandmother, veteran, and mentor, committed to helping others—especially women, youth, and veterans—find strength in faith and purpose in their stories. You are not broken. You’re being rebuilt for something greater. You’re never alone.

I grew up in a small Wyoming town where faith was lived out and hard work mattered more than words. At six, I trusted Jesus as my Savior, and through my teen years, I served wherever I could—children’s ministry, helping families, and doing the quiet work no one else noticed. My dad taught me responsibility, my aunt modeled unconditional love, and a college professor pushed me toward excellence. Over time, I learned that the people who make the biggest impact aren’t the loudest—they’re the ones who stay. For over a decade, I’ve taught in elementary classrooms, mentored teachers, and created resources to support educators. No matter the role, my goal is the same: to show up with integrity, loyalty, and steady perseverance.

Each morning, walking the halls of our school reminds me why I’m here: a student’s smile, a respectful “Good morning,” a glimpse of something good growing. I didn’t plan to be a school leader. After high school, I joined a church league just to play sports—but God used it to change everything. Playing alongside men who had peace and purpose led me to trust Christ as my Savior. Years later, I accepted a teaching job in a Christian school and quickly realized it wasn’t just a job—it was a mission. Today, I’m still here because I believe Christian education can shape lives for eternity. This school isn’t just a building; it’s a family, and every child who walks through our doors matters.

For me, “home” is Fayetteville—and especially Berean Baptist Academy. I grew up here, attending BBA from K4 through graduation, and have long been part of Berean Baptist Church. I met my wife here, we married here, and now our children attend BBA. This community has shaped every chapter of my life.
For over 20 years, I worked in the restaurant industry—from waiter to owner—learning patience, leadership, and the value of serving others. Yet I always felt called back to Berean. Today, I serve at BBA with renewed purpose, watching my children walk the same halls I once did.
Berean isn’t just a school—it’s a family where faith and learning grow together. I’m passionate about helping students and families thrive.

I grew up fast—learning responsibility at eight while praying for the leadership my family lacked. That same year, I accepted Christ, gaining purpose, identity, and a vision: to become the man I didn’t see growing up. My father’s failures didn’t make me bitter—they made me brave. I committed to lead with integrity, provide spiritually and practically, and show up with strength and love. Inspired by people like Michael Jordan, I believe in resilience—no excuses, no shortcuts, just relentless growth. Today, I lead with focus, drive, and authenticity. I’m known for attention to detail, a sharp sense of humor, and consistent follow-through. In five years, I want my brand to speak through legacy, not flash—because if my name’s on it, it’s done right.
