Berean Baptist Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. Berean Baptist Academy does not discriminate based on race, color, or national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

BBA will, as a religious organization, exercise its prerogative to neither commence nor continue employment, admission, enrollment, or other categories of BBA representation or participation if BBA believes that so doing will cause confusion about, conflict with, or compromise BBA’s mission to disciple students by providing a distinctly Christian education from a Christ-centered worldview. This policy will be applied to all BBA affairs, including all contracts, programs, activities, facilities, publications, and events.

BBA does not employ special education teachers and, therefore, cannot accept most IEP/504P students due to the lack of resources to meet the student’s needs. Due to the limited number of trained resource teachers, BBA will only accept mild IEPs for a limited number of students per grade.

THE BASICS OF BECOMING A BULLDOG

Berean Baptist Academy (BBA) welcomes students from diverse backgrounds. While it is not a requirement for all students to profess Christ as Savior, students and their parents must demonstrate a willingness to learn the historical doctrines of the Bible and the core beliefs of Berean Baptist Church and Academy (READ THEM HERE).

This openness is essential for admission and continued enrollment.

To be considered for admission, students must maintain a minimum average of “C” or higher in their core academic courses and possess a good disciplinary record.
The family must possess a good reputation and be in good financial standing at their previous school of record.
Transferring seniors from out of town are welcome to apply, while local seniors will only be accepted under exceptional or extenuating circumstances.
BBA does not permit students to reclassify after the eighth grade unless it is determined to provide a significant academic benefit to the student, such as providing academic eligibility for college programs otherwise unavailable, such as raising the overall GPA to 2.0 eligibility for Junior College Athletic Scholarships or other scholarship opportunities.
