Berean Baptist Academy offers an academic program designed to prepare students to enter college, even if God calls them to military service, a technical trade, or directly into a career after high school.  Therefore, with a limited number of seats, due to the high rate of returning students each year, students with a history of high academics and an excellent disciplinary record are given priority in the application process.

All new students must complete the following steps to apply to Berean Baptist Academy.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact us at 910-868-2511 or email our Admissions Department at

Berean Baptist Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. Berean Baptist Academy does not discriminate based on race, color, or national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

BBA will, as a religious organization, exercise its prerogative to neither commence nor continue employment, admission, enrollment, or other categories of BBA representation or participation if it is believed by BBA that so doing will cause confusion about, conflict with, or compromise BBA’s mission to disciple students by providing a distinctly Christian education from a Christ-centered worldview. This policy will be applied to all BBA affairs, including all contracts, programs, activities, facilities, publications, and events.

Applying for an Open Seat

Step 1 - Schedule A Tour

Please fill out our Information Request Form to receive a phone call from a member of our Admissions Team, information about our academy, and to schedule a tour of our academy. During the tour you will meet with an admissions specialist to discuss your academic needs and goals. Families who are moving to the Fayetteville Area can request a virtual live tour.

Step 2 - Submit Special Needs Paperwork

Due to the limited ability to support students with certain special needs, students who require a 504 Plan and/or an Individual Education Plan (IEP) for academic, behavioral, or physical support are requested to submit all supporting documents to the Admissions office before submitting an application and paying the non-refundable application fee.

Step 3 - Read and Understand Student Expectations

Berean Baptist Academy is a private Christian academy that teaches and adheres to traditional Christian beliefs. We ask that all parents review our beliefs and review the appropriate student handbook (found in our “Parent Resources”).

Inside those handbooks, you will find our discipline and dress code expectations.

Berean Baptist Academy treats student discipline as a cornerstone of the educational process and requires all students to adhere to Academy policies while enrolled at the Academy.  Therefore, BBA expects all students to meet the conditions of the student code of conduct beginning on day one of their enrollment.

Step 4 - Fill Out An Application for Each Student

Complete the Online Application (Click Here)

To begin your student’s online application, create an account. You may then log in to your account and “Create A New Student Application” for your student. You can log in and out of your account and access your student’s open application. A non-refundable $50 application fee must be submitted to process your student’s application. You will need to submit an application and application fee per student applying. The link for payment will be available once the application is submitted.

Please note you must upload a scanned or photographed copy of these documents to apply. It will not submit without these documents attached:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Immunization Record
  • Two School Years’ worth of report cards – one may be from this current year
  • One classroom teacher’s letter of recommendation (lower grade students) or an English Teacher and Math Teacher’s letter of recommendation (Upper grade students).

Step 5 - Administrative Records Review

Our team of principals will review your submitted application and all submitted documents uploaded during the application submission, and any documents received from previous schools. The team may also contact the pastor listed on the application for a reference.

A disciplinary summary from the previous or current school may be requested for the records review.

If your student is being considered for admission, you will be contacted to continue the admissions process. If your student is no longer being considered for admissions, you will be notified by our Admissions Department.

Step 6 - Academic Readiness Assessment

After the records review, candidates for admission will be contacted by a member of our Admissions Department to schedule your student’s academic readiness assessment with one of our faculty members.

All K5 – 12th-grade students must complete the readiness assessment for their applied grade. Many of these grades take an assessment that is observed for independent work capabilities, the time required to complete the assessment, and the indicated grade equivalence.

The assessment is reviewed by an academic team to determine if the student is ready for entry into the academic division indicated on the application.  Those determined to be academically ready will be contacted for an interview.  If your student is no longer being considered for admissions, you will be notified of this decision.

Step 7 - Student and Family Interview

After completing the admission assessment, you will be contacted by a member of our Admissions Team to schedule your family interview. All families are required to interview members of our team of academic principals and faculty; students must attend the interview.

Families will receive an admissions decision within two business days.  Students may be accepted, accepted on a fifteen-day waitlist, or denied enrollment.  After fifteen days, the wait-listed students will either be notified, in order of merit, that they have a seat in the academy or that the desired grade has been filled.

Due to the limited number of open seats, accepted families will have two calendar days from notification to complete the enrollment process before being moved to the waitlist.

Enrollment is not considered complete until the enrollment packet and fee are received.

Step 1 - Complete the Enrollment Packet

If your student is accepted into the academy, you will be notified within two business days through email by a member of our Admissions Department. You will then need to complete and submit your student’s online enrollment packet within 48 hours to reserve your student’s seat. Failure to complete the enrollment packet within 48 hours may result in a loss of your slot to another family. A non-refundable $250 enrollment fee will be required with your tuition payment plan through Square (This fee is separate from the application fee).

A payment plan will be setup through FACTS. You will receive an email reminder when each payment is due. If you wish to make a payment in full or 2 semester payments, please send an email to to receive a discount and have the changes made to your invoice.

Step 2 - Receive Notification of a Start Date

Families enrolling during an ongoing school year will be notified with a start date once the enrollment packet is verified completely. Normally, the start date is within one to two days of the submission of the enrollment packet. The notification will include the name of your student’s Elementary Teacher or Homeroom Teacher. Upper School students will receive their locker assignment and schedule the morning of their first day.
